Troop replies:)

We have been keeping in contact with MSgt Ronald Snyder, a solider that received one of our care packages from Malynki's Birthday Party. He is from the Red Horse Unit In Mansfield, Ohio. It's very nice to keep in touch with someone from an area that we are from. He is a fellow OSU fan and sent us this photo so I thought I would share. (He is the I) :)

Our 3rd Thank You from the Troops:

Malynki, Courtney and Larry

Hi Malynki

Your letter came in one of the boxes for Any Airman. It’s a neat letter and there are great pictures of you on it. I wanted to email you and your parents to say Thank You for taking the time to donate to the Any Airman Program. It is a great program. It is so nice to receive items in the mail, those things remind us of home. I am glad you are doing so well. I can’t believe you had SpongeBob at your last birthday party. He is so funny. I will have to tell my daughter about your party guest.

What does your daddy do in the Air Force? How long has he been in? You give him a big hug and a thank you from me and my family for his Service to our Great Country. My family and I appreciate his service. How do you guys like Wright Patterson and the area? Where is your family from in Ohio?

Now since I have read this letter from you, let me tell you about me. I am in the military too, like your dad. I am also in the Air Force. Actually the Air National Guard. I was in the Active Duty  Air Force for 8 years, as an Air Transportation Specialist. I was stationed in Hawaii, Louisiana and the country of Panama. I have been all over the world. I have been in the Ohio Air Guard, since 1994. I have had 3 different careers since being in the Guard. I was in Air Trans, Communications, now Engineering. I have been in for a total of 25 years in September. I am going to retire when I get back from this deployment.

I am currently deployed with my Red Horse unit out of Ohio. I am in the country of Afghanistan, at Bagram Air Field. I am about half way through my deployment, only 3 more months to go. I can’t wait to see my family again. My unit is a heavy construction unit, we build roads, runways and buildings. We have poured a lot of concrete since we have been here.

Like I said I am from Ohio. My guard unit is stationed out of Mansfield Ohio, it is about 3 hours or more north of Dayton. We are about an hour north of Columbus. I actually live in Galion, Ohio. I am married, I have a stepdaughter that is 19 and goes to college at the University of Toledo. She wants to be a lawyer. I have a daughter that will be 11 in July. I have 2 dogs and a guinea pig. A Golden Retriever named Princess, a St. Bernard mix named Sophie, and the guinea pig is named Calli. Plus my stepdaughter brought a dog home from college named Mongo.

Well I am currently at work and I need to go to our end of the day meeting. I am keeping your letter so I can send more emails if you would like. I wish you and your family the best. Again thank you for cool letter, and thank you to your daddy for his service.

Delayyyyy

I still haven't forgotten all of you. With Larry finally leaving last week we are trying to get into some type of routine with Malynki because as you know he is very OCD about routine. I have finals this week and next and then my #1 priority is thanking everyone for his wonderful gifts.

Delayed Thank You Cards....

Hey Everyone,
We have not forgot about all the wonderful donations and gifts Malynki received for his birthday. Since his party it has been pretty stressful with school, therapy's and preparing for Larry's deployment. Some of them have been sent but the others I will be working on first chance I get. Larry leaves in a week so we are in crunch time for that. Thank you for your understanding.

Our 2nd Thank You from the Troops!!

I was excited when I received the mail today! We had a letter from someone we sent a care package too. I will upload a copy of the letter first chance I get!!

Malynki,
I have to say, I thought I was a young military supporter at age 9 when I began to watch John Wayne, Patton, and Rambo movies, You by far have me beat!! We appreciate you, Mom and Dad for taking time to send us a care package. It really means a lot to us. It brightened up our troops' faces when I presented the box to them.... It felt a little like Christmas morning.

I'm glad you received a lot of support and love from the military. You are a healthy and handsome little boy. Continue to have your Mom, Dad and Grandparents spoil you. Your selflessness has brought joy to us. Thank you very much. We truly do appreciate it.

P.S. Your Dad will be in good hands when he deploys in May.

Thank you!
From all of us in Kyrgyzstan

Our 1st Thank You!!

I was so excited today to receive an email from someone we sent a package too. I will share them all on here as we receive them :)

Dear Malynki,

I want to say thank you so much for the package and for the letter.  It means so much to all of us here!  I have a little boy about your age.  Kaiden will be 2 in June and my oldest, Konner, will be 4 in May.  Just between me and you, boys rock, they are the best and easiest!  I know your daddy will miss you so so so much, but thank you for allowing him to come over here and help serve with us.  Your letter brought tears to my eyes.  If something so little can survive a tragedy like the one you had a birth, then I know that I can do anything too!  You are such a Strong little guy and don’t ever let anyone tell you different!!  Thank you for sharing your story with us.  Stay strong Malynki!!  Take care of your Mom and I promise that we will take care of your Daddy!!  Thank you again for the gift and letter!!  Hope this email finds you!
